Check out the Village of Westclay - It's in Carmel, north of Indy. My parents looked at a house in there - very similar to Glenwood Park in ATL, except it's a loooong way from downtown Indy. They're doing some interesting things in Indy along the canal walk, too.
Carmel sounds like Vickery or maybe a bit less like Serenbe. That piece was all over Glenwood Park's balls. I ride by there almost everyday. I think they did it right by locating on the Beltline and getting residents before retail. But they are still lacking a lot of store fronts. The new City Hall East (also a Beltline linchpin) plan being debated tonight will introduce a lot more big box retail options in order to get it built. We'll see what happens.
